Retreat Terms and Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before booking the retreat. By booking the retreat, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1. Booking and Payment
1.1. You will be given options for the payment in an email. Please check your spam if you do not receive it in your inbox.
2. Retreat Participation
* 2.1. The retreat is open to participants 18 years and older.
* 2.2. Participants are expected to follow the schedule and guidelines set by the retreat organizers.
* 2.3. Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior may lead to the participant’s removal from the retreat without any refund.
3. Accommodation and Meals
* 3.1. Accommodation and all meals provided during the retreat are included in the retreat cost.
* 3.2. Meals provided during the retreat will be fully vegetarian. If there are any dietary restrictions, please inform the organizers.
4. Health and Safety
* 4.1. Participants are responsible for their health and well-being during the retreat.
* 4.2. Participants should inform the retreat organizers of any medical conditions or allergies prior to the retreat.
* 4.3. All participants are required to bring and manage their own prescribed medication. Facilitators are trained to provide general support and ensure a safe environment, but they are not responsible for administering, monitoring, or replacing personal medication.
* 4.4. The retreat organizers will not be liable for any injuries, health issues, or complications arising from a participant’s failure to carry or correctly manage their own medication.
5. Travel and Insurance
* 5.1. Participants are responsible for arranging their travel to and from the retreat location.
* 5.2. Participants are advised to purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen events or cancellations.
6. Changes and Cancellations
* 6.1. For Normal Price tickets, cancellation requests made before 15th September 2025 will incur a 25% deduction, with the remaining amount refunded. Cancellation after 15th September 2025 is non-refundable.
* 6.2. There is no cancellation allowed for Early Bird rate.
* 6.3. The retreat organizers reserve the right to make changes to the retreat itinerary if necessary, without prior notice.
* 6.4. In the event that the retreat is canceled by the organizers, participants will receive a full refund of the amount paid.
7. Intellectual Property
* 7.1. Any materials or content provided during the retreat, including but not limited to workshops, lectures, and handouts, are the intellectual property of The Tranquillity and its instructors. Participants are not allowed to reproduce, distribute, or use these materials for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
8. Photos, Footage, and Participant Consent
* 8.1. On the introductory day of the retreat, participants will be asked to provide permission regarding photos and footage taken during the retreat. This may be obtained verbally or through a signed waiver form.
* 8.2. Photography and filming are intended to document the retreat experience as a whole. Images may be retained by The Tranquillity for internal records and promotional purposes, but no participant will be individually identified or highlighted without their consent.
* 8.3. Participants are expected to communicate clearly with organizers on the introductory day regarding their preferences. Permissions given at that time will guide the use of photos and footage for the remainder of the retreat.
* 8.4. Once consent has been provided, whether verbally or in writing, participants acknowledge that photos and footage taken during the retreat form part of The Tranquillity’s retreat record. These materials are maintained by The Tranquillity and are not subject to later alteration or removal requests.
9. Limitation of Liability
* 9.1. The retreat organizers and its staff shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from the retreat or any activities related to it.
* 9.2. Participants are responsible for their personal belongings during the retreat.
